Bachelor's Degree - Art -Studio Arts Option

The Studio Arts Option allows students to combine two or more studio disciplines that, cumulatively, are the equivalent of one major. The flexibility of this program enables students to pursue studies in ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, multi-media, or printmaking to achieve objectives specific to individual, artistic goals. These goals are established through careful counseling with Athens State University faculty. Each student is assisted in setting up a well-coordinated, diversified program of fine art studies. The senior major exhibition culminates the study. This degree option is traditional, and opportunities following graduation include graduate school and professional artist.
