BA in Product Design

Design is a field that is constantly developing. Product design influences our way of life, how we move through a room, or what discussions arise. The Design programme at Beckmans emphasises the wide scope of this field – from unique pieces to serial production in materials such as wood, textile, glass, ceramics, metal and paper. Beckmans offers courses in Product Design at BA and foundation level.

Beckmans College of Design in Stockholm offers three BA courses (180 points): Visual Communication, Fashion and Design.

Beckmans' is in constant development. New knowledge and new perspectives on humanism, diversity, equality, and sustainability permeate the courses based on an artistic foundation. Beckmans College of Design is a venue devoted to promoting the knowledge associated with praxis-based design on an artistic foundation by practice, research and questioning. Curiosity, empathy and aesthetics are combined using focused teaching and collaboration. Beckmans College of Design has 123 students and a staff of 30. Students also have access to guest lecturers, and the school collaborates closely with professionals with whom we share interests.
