Doctorate in Health Care Education & Leadership (Ed.D.)

The online Ed.D. program prepares experienced health care and education professionals to teach, practice, and perform research across the continuum of health care and higher education.

The interdisciplinary curriculum offers a broad-based approach to educators, administrators, researchers, and practitioners who wish to gain the skills to advance their professional careers. Coursework focuses on educational theory and practice, leadership strategies, and applied research to help you implement innovative approaches in the health care and higher education environment.

Clarkson College has not always been a college. Instead, we began in 1888 as a school of nursing—the first in the state of Nebraska. Over more than 130 years, we’ve established a new campus, expanded our program offerings, and adopted a new name.
