The MSc in Healthcare Innovation & Data Science at emlyon business school is a comprehensive two-year program designed to equip students with the skills to lead and implement complex innovation projects within the healthcare sector. This ultidisciplinary curriculum combines advanced training in healthcare management, innovation strategies, and data science, preparing graduates to transform biological, medical, and operational data into actionable insights.

Program structure:

Year 1: Students build a strong foundation in health systems, business fundamentals, and data science. Key areas of study include the evolution of health systems, digitalization in healthcare, patient-centric approaches, AI ethics, business models, project management, corporate finance, health data science, Python programming, and data visualization. Leadership and team management skills are also emphasized. An optional 4-6 month internship is available to provide practical experience.
Year 2: The focus shifts to advanced topics such as global health ecosystems, innovation in health systems, digital technologies in healthcare, advanced project management, digital marketing, consulting, data governance, cybersecurity, and advanced AI and machine learning. Students participate in an international term at emlyon's Shanghai campus, gaining global perspectives on healthcare innovation. A mandatory 4-6 month internship allows students to apply their knowledge in real-world settings.

Admission Requirements

Students holding one of the following degrees can apply for the MSc in Healthcare Innovation & Data Science:

A validated Master 1 degree or Bachelor's degree equivalent to Bac +4
A validated Licence 3 degree or Bachelor's degree equivalent to Bac +3

You can apply whilst studying the last year of the degree which makes you eligible for the program (Bachelor's Degree minimum).
