AAS in Veterinary Technology

At Fox College, our Veterinary Technology faculty are all animal lovers and have real-world experience. Our classes provide plenty of hands-on instruction. You will also spend 8 weeks in an externship where you will practice what you've learned and make industry contacts!

You will be learning in a simulated veterinary office throughout the program, which contains industry-standard veterinary equipment. Our facilities feature a kennel, which houses dogs, cats, rabbits, mice, and more! You will also learn about large animal care. The Veterinary Technology program contains all elements required by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA)

With campuses near Midway Airport and in the Tinley Park suburb of Chicago, Fox College offers students a hands-on education leading to a diploma or an Associate of Applied Science degree. Programs are offered in the fields of business and health care.
