Established in 1987, the htk academy educates worldclass designers, both in Germany and online. Quite recently, the course portfolio has expanded: Communication Design and Game Creation will be delivered fully in English.

Vocational courses at htk academy

The htk Academy is a vocational school that offers practical design courses; all students are taught by experts from the creative industry. There are no exams at htk and you will learn through practical projects every semester.

Qualification

At the end of your htk program, you will:

• gain a German education certificate which will make you eligible to apply for a job-seeking visa. This visa and your own creative portfolio will allow you to get the job you want!
• qualify for a Bachelor's Top-up degree in Germany, at one of htk academy’s academic partners. This additional year of study will be a similar price to the htk annual fee and will also give you access to an amazing 18-month post-study visa.
