Biotechnology evolves alongside societal transformations and represents a practical application of scientific innovations. SupBiotech’s biotechnology engineering program prepares graduates to address the ethical, human, societal, and legal challenges inherent to this rapidly growing sector. In five years, this program, which combines a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, enables students to earn the title of engineer. It includes 12 months of corporate internships, an international experience, and a blend of theoretical and practical training.

At SupBiotech, students can choose specialized tracks in various fields of biotechnology, allowing them to align their studies with their interests and career goals:

  • Health and Biopharmaceuticals
  • Food Sciences
  • Environmental Sciences
  • Cosmetics
  • Bioinformatics and Digital Technologies

These specializations address both current and future industry needs, offering hands-on experience and internships with leading companies.

About the School

SupBiotech’s curriculum is a multidisciplinary balance between science and engineering coursework (lectures, practical laboratory work and projects), management skills, industrial know-how. Our students also learn about the domestic and international biotechnology markets. SupBiotech’s professors come from diverse training and educational backgrounds, such as universities, research centers and industry. English is used throughout our program; our graduate courses are taught in English from the third year onwards. SupBiotech’s students are prepared for a wide range of responsibilities in various biotechnology and international corporations, working in the fields of health, cosmetics, the environment, pharmaceuticals and agribusiness.

SupBiotech is a school specialized in Biotechnology which provide an innovative course taught over 5 years after the highschool Degree. The school is close to both the world of scientific research as well as the corporate world ans has signed partnerships with universities globally. Graduates gain quick access to senior position both in France and abroad in such fields as health and pharmaceuticals, food-processing innovation, cosmetics, bioinformatics or the environment. The studies, combining academic fundamentals, student projects and internships are divided into two parts according to European standards: the preparatory cycle (2 years) and the engineering cycle (3 years). SupBiotech’s Biotechnology engineering program is accredited by Medicen Paris Région and Industries and Agro-Resources (I.A.R.). SupBiotech also offers an apprenticeship program starting at the baccalaureate level, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, which is accessible after highschool Degree.



Admission Requirements

Undergraduate:

  • Biotech 1: English with IELTS>6 or TOEFL>70. French with B2. For both of them, it is required the High School Diploma
  • Biotech 2: English with IELTS>6 or TOEFL>70. French with B2. For both of them, High school diploma + 1 year in higher education in Biotech/Life Sc field
  • Biotech 3: English with IELTS>6 or TOEFL>70. The required diploma is an High school diploma + 3 years in higher education in Biotech/Life Sc field

Graduate:

  • Biotech 4: English with IELTS>6,5 or TOEFL>85. The required diploma is a Bachelor of Sc or High school diploma + 3 years in higher education in Biotech/Life Sc field
  • Biotech 5: English with IELTS>6,5 or TOEFL>85. The required diploma is a Bachelor of Sc + 1 year of Master’s program
