AS in Nursing

The Associate in Science in Nursing (ASN) degree is comprised of general education and professional coursework. Professional coursework combines classroom theory with hands-on learning in the College's state-of-the-art simulation technology lab and real patients at clinical sites across the Boston, North Shore, and South Shore areas. Nursing students can practice and learn patient care on high-fidelity manikins before working with live patients through simulation technology. This offers students a low-stress and highly effective way to practice and build confidence. Students who complete the ASN program are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN exam to earn their RN credentials and practice as a registered nurse.
