The department of mechanical engineering is desired to correspond to the development of computer networks, the globalization of society, the environmental problems, and the aging society, and to make a social contribution through joint research projects with companies. The objective of this department is to nurture leading engineers and researchers who can create advanced machines and systems through education and research in the fields of information and control, production, the human environment, and materials.

The time has already arrived in which there is the need for a new approach to science and technology, one that can facilitate the formation of a positive, balanced, and supportive relationship between man’s environment and the progress and needs of industry.
