Program Description

There is a constantly growing demand for technical and analytical expertise in the business world. Businesses are collecting more data than ever before, and using that data to make better-informed decisions is becoming a requirement.

Are you hungry to meet that demand?

Our Master of Science in Business Analytics and Information Management (MSBAIM) program will acquaint you with state-of-the-art information technologies and analytical techniques that will benefit all levels of an organization. You'll develop proficiencies in the use of Python, Rstudio, Excel, SQL, SAS, Minitab, Gurobi, and various other big data technologies.

For decades, the Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. School of Business School of Management has used an analytical business approach to develop industry leaders. Our rigorous curriculum and experiential learning help develop students who aim to build upon their science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) backgrounds to establish, lead, and grow prominent organizations.

About the School

Purdue University's new Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. School of Business will create the next generation of students ready to lead, or found, great companies and transform society.

The Daniels School of Business will build upon Purdue’s mission as a land-grant university to make education more affordable and accessible. It is comprised of the Bruce White Undergraduate Institute and the Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. School of Business Graduate Institute.

The Bruce White Undergraduate Institute is the result of a $50 million gift from the Dean and Barbara White Family Foundation to honor Bruce White, former Purdue Trustee and founder and chairman of White Lodging. It will provide students greatly enhanced experiential learning opportunities, revised curricula to stay at the cutting edge of business education, and an enhanced understanding of the role of business in society.

The Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. School of Business Graduate Institute honors original school benefactors Herman and Ellnora Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. School of Business. It allows students to learn in residential, online or hybrid settings to further their careers in a vibrant ecosystem, giving them analytical and problem-solving skills to move industry forward and change the world.

We will prioritize four foundational pillars:

  • Excellence at Scale
  • Integrating Business with Technology
  • Transformative Learning
  • Cornerstone for Business
