Master in Advanced Manufacturing Technologies

The Skoltech Advanced Manufacturing Technologies program is aimed to prepare the next generation of researchers, engineers, and practitioners to assume a role of technical leadership in research and innovation in the high-tech sector with a particular focus on Advanced Materials and novel Digital Engineering technologies. As a part of the program students study state-of-the-art technologies in the areas of advanced composite materials, additive manufacturing, thermal spray coatings, and novel information technologies for simulation-driven product development, digital prototyping, detailed understanding and analysis of engineering/physical systems, processes, advanced materials and technological processes. Our graduates have fundamental knowledge in mechanics and physics of composite materials, additive manufacturing and thermal spray coatings; acquire vast hands-on experience in handling cutting-edge equipment; gain deep understanding of modern technological methods and tools, IT-based manufacturing and product development practices; are able to apply their knowledge of mathematical methods, mechanics, physics and materials science in advanced manufacturing and materials research, engineering, and applications; have fundamental knowledge in multi-scale and multi-physics computational modeling of physical systems and technological processes, numerical methods, and high performance computer simulations.

Knowledge and skills: Successful candidates will have solid knowledge of Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering. Education: An undergraduate degree in engineering, technology, technical sciences, mathematical, or natural sciences. English language: If your education has not been conducted in English, you will be expected to demonstrate evidence of an adequate level of English proficiency.

Monthly scholarship (up to 55.000 rub/month) + full tuition waiver + coverage of relocation costs

Industry: Landing specialist positions in high-tech sectors, including but not limited to, advanced manufacturing and materials, aerospace, energy and transportation, research and development, and consulting.
