In the Department of Philosophy, while learning the process that our predecessors have thought about such questions, we will make a logical decision and deepen our own thoughts. The Japanese literature program of the graduate school does not end with a master’s degree, but goes on to a doctoral program, so for all of our students, obtaining a doctor’s degree is not a mere dream. We also have a system of official credit exchange with the graduate schools of Seikei University and Chuo University.

The Graduate School of Agriculture focuses on nurturing talented individuals who are able to adapt to the demands of a rapidly changing environment and contribute widely to society. Building upon the broad-based foundation of the faculty’s undergraduate program, the Graduate School re-organized its education programs into a systematic structure encompassing the broad areas of subtropical agriculture and began offering one integrated course in Subtropical Agriculture from 2011. The graduate program of System Management is aimed to provide students various engineering techniques to analyze and optimize management, production, and information media systems. The program consists of the following three research fields: （1）Management system engineering, （2）Production system engineering, and （3）Information media engineering.

Public health nursing is an independent nursing occupation in Japan. All public health nurses (PHNs) are educated as nurses and public health nurses and have licensure as a registered nurse and separate licensure as a PHN. The minimum length of education and training required to receive licensure in Japan is three years for nurses and one year for PHNs. There are various PHN educational programs in Japan, such as graduate school Master’s courses; undergraduate courses; junior college non-degree courses; four-year special training college courses for nurses and PHNs; and one-year PHN schools. Our faculty believes that PHNs should be educated and trained at the graduate level to improve the quality of their practice, so OUNHS was the first school in Japan to establish a Master’s degree PHN course in 2011.
